About Advanced Botulinum Toxin Type A

This course is for people who have already studied a Botulinum Toxin foundation course and want to move onto the next level.

 

The course will help you do gain an even greater understanding of the art of facial aesthetics, helping you to see the face as a whole.

Hyperhidrosis is a chronic disorder of excessive sweating, for those suffering from Hyperhidrosis Botulinum Toxin gives them new hope where previous therapies have failed before.

Botulinum toxin can also be used to elevate the brows, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

This has been referred to in the literature as a chemical brow lift and consists of a few Botulinum Toxin injections to relax the muscles that are responsible for depressing the brows.

Course Objectives:


1. Review Facial Anatomy

2. Review the vectors in facial anatomy and facial

    analysis for combination treatments
3. Demonstrate knowledge of the advanced techniques

   of Botulinum Toxin
4. Demonstrate knowledge of Hyperhidrosis and its

   treatment.
5. Identify clients who have contraindications and

   exclude them from treatment.
6. Conduct a medical history and demonstrate a full

    client consultation and assessment. Including

    obtaining informed consent, and explain pre & post

    treatment instructions.
7. Identify areas suitable for treatment and demonstrate

    safe preparation of the skin and application of

    products.

8. Understand the legal requirements for a Hyperhidrosis

   treatment
8. Practice an advanced treatment
