DMAE

As we age, levels of acetylcholine, a chemical mediator related to the muscular tone, are diminished. Acetylcholine improves the muscular tone and reaffirms the skin. DMAE increases the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitor that sends signals from nerves to muscles and from nerve to nerve. Therefore, as we stimulate the production of acetylcholine, muscular tone is increased.

Firming action: improves skin firmness and appearance.
Tightening effect: stimulates muscular tone and activity, tightening the skin and inducing a long-lasting lifting effect.

Increased elasticity: enhances the synthesis of collagen and elastin; which are the proteins responsible for the elasticity of the skin.

Decreased wrinkles: smoothes lines and wrinkles.
Antioxidant action: stabilizes cellular membranes and repairs the damage caused by free radicals in collagen
 

Lactic acid
Milder than other acids, so people with sensitive skin.

Lactic acid diminishes cohesion of corneocytes and prevents thickening of the horny layer. Increases the thickness of the epidermis and the dermis and stimulates the growth of new collagen and elastic fibers in the dermal layer of the skin, so that, over a period of time, the skin surface begins to look younger and smoother.
