Glycolic Acid Peels

Glycolic: skin rejuvenation

 
Glycolic Acid removes the upper layer of old and dead skin cells, while encouraging the growth of younger, smoother and evenly pigmented looking skin.


Because Glicopeel is not intended for sensitive and dark skin. There are four Glycolic acid peels in the range.

 

Glycolic acid skin peel derived from sugar cane

 

Glycolic acid

Derived from sugar cane Glycolic acid is probably the best-known naturally occurring fruit acids or Alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA). Use of AHAs on skin dates back to Egyptian times, Cleopatra bathed in sour milk, French ladies applied wine to their faces to keep their skin smooth, both contain naturally occurring AHAs.

 

Glycolic has a small molecular structure and can therefore penetrate the skins surface.

 

Non-neutralised Glycolic acid solution. Function is based on the skins natural mechanism cellular renewal. Exfoliation action eliminates dead cells and stimulates cellular regeneration.


White Clay

White clay mask with healing properties which are derived from its aluminium content.


Strontium nitrate

Strontium nitrate is a substance capable of inhibiting tingling sensations and irritations associated with peels containing glycolic acid. It reduces irritations, inflammations, and redness caused by glycolic acid peels.

White clay mask with healing properties which are derived from its aluminium content. Mask coloured for ease of use.
Contains menthol for its cooling sensation on the skin.
Free Glycolic acid produces exfoliation of the upper epidermic layers, eliminating impurities from the skin and stimulating cellular renovation. Helps collagen synthesis, elastin and GAGs, and sebum secretion. Eliminates comedones and improves transfer of melanin.

This is the only peel in the range that is buffered for those who require a soft peel. Can be used in combination with other peels
