About Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy (skin prick nutrition), is an aesthetic procedure used for the treatment of cellulite, skin rejuvenation, fat loss and body sculpting.

It is used in skin rejuvenating because mesotherapy can replace minerals, vitamins and amino acids and Hyaluronic acid that decrease as we age.

Mesotherapy involves multiple injections using a very fine needle, immediately beneath the surface of the skin. Each treatment takes about ten to twenty minutes.

Mesotherapy can repair free radical damage, and tighten loose skin. The effects are said to rejuvenate the face and neck without the unnatural appearance, pain, or cost of a face lift.

After Mesotherapy treatment skin can be firmer more youthful and glowing. Botulinum Toxin can also be administered with Mesotherapy to relax muscles in the face eliminating signs of stress.

2. Discuss the different injection techniques used
3. Discuss the mechanism of action for specific cocktail

4. Demonstrate knowledge of the indications and how

    to assess different treatment areas.
5. Identify the indications/contraindications,

    complications and after-care for Mesotherapy.
6. Demonstrate knowledge of the protocols for

    Mesotherapy
7. Select suitable clients for the treatment.
8. Plan an effective Mesotherapy treatment.
9. Conduct a medical history and demonstrate a full

    client consultation and assessment. Including

    obtaining informed consent, and explain pre & post

    treatment instructions.
10. Identify areas suitable for treatment and

     demonstrate safe preparation of the skin and

     application of products.
11. Practice a Mesotherapy treatment.
