TCA is typically used in concentrations ranging from 15-35% When TCA is applied to the skin, it causes the top layers of cells to dry up and peel off over several days. When the old skin has peeled off, it exposes a new layer of undamaged skin which has a smoother texture and more even colour. There is a strong demand for these types of peels fuelled by the TV and celebrity endorsement. It is a very satisfying treatment to perform as the results can be fantastic and clients are very happy to have had a treatment that has made a real difference. As well as TCA You will also lean about other advanced techniques such as boosting and layering peels. The Treatment An average course of peels is 1-2 per year. It takes about 30mins to perform. TCA Peels can improve: Deep Wrinkles Photoageing Age Spots Stretch Marks Superficial acne scarring MediDerma TCA Solutions of 25% and 35% unbuffered produce spectacular results. A full program of pre peel products and healing after care is also available to go with this peel.	Entry Requirements: Must already be trained in custom peeling or have done a similar course. Please Complete the Application Form. Course Objectives: 1. Review knowledge of the anatomy of the skin. 2. Demonstrate knowledge of the products used for TCA & Advanced Peeling 3. Identify clients who have contraindications and exclude them from treatment. 4. Demonstrate knowledge of advanced techniques 5. Demonstrate knowledge of the MediDerma advanced peel formulas 6. Identify skin types suitable for treatment 7. Conduct a medical history and demonstrate a full client consultation and assessment. Including obtaining informed consent, explain pre & post treatment instructions. 8. Perform a full skin analysis and identify problems suitable for treatment and areas to avoid treatment. 9. Demonstrate safe preparation of the skin and application of products. 10. Practice a TCA chemical peel
